The Québec Cycling Federation has requested that the Coupe des Amériques modify its dates for 2008.
The confirmed dates are:
July 4, 5 and 6, 2008.
The stages will be modified in accordance with the many suggestions received. Here is the broad picture of the main changes. Hil Climb: the classic Abercorn to Val Sutton; the Time Trial will be approximately one kilometer longer; the Criterium is abandonned and replaced by a short road race of about 50 km; the Road Race will be on the same course, but travel in the opposite direction and will finish again near Mont Sutton.

The organizing committee is busy preparing the 2008 edition. The changes
to the stages and circuits will be detailed in April.
In 2006 the Coupe des Amériques was crowned
The Best Organization of the Year
by the Quebec Veteran's Cycling Association (ACVQ) and was nominated as
The Best National Event
by the Quebec Cycling Federation.
The 2008 success was as important and this honour belongs to the many dedicated volunteers that put their heart and soul
into making the event such a success. We are very proud of them all.
