A map of the circuit showing photos taken along the circuit has been added to the third stage page. Most will agree that this 2 km course will be very interresting and fun to race. Racers should travel to Cowansville on Route 139 then turn right on Church street. Parking will be allowed between Route 139 and the Criterium circuit. Access to this street will only be afforded to vehicles that can show proof of their involvement in the race (racer bib or validated coupon supplied in the racer package). The organizing comittee thanks the City of Cowanville for its hospitality and sponsorship. Families are welcome to use municipal facilities such as the beach, parc, etc. while attending the event. The organizing committee is busy preparing the 2009 edition. The changes to the stages and circuits may be viewed under the « stages and schedules » heading. Any other changes will be posted as news on this page .


In 2006 the Coupe des Amériques was crowned The Best Organization of the Year by the Quebec Veteran's Cycling Association (ACVQ) and was nominated as The Best National Event by the Quebec Cycling Federation.

The 2008 edition was a success notwithstanding serious delays to obtain results, an aspect that the organizing committee is working on to resolve.

The compliments that have been received from racers is an honour that belongs to the many dedicated volunteers that put their hearts into making the event such a success. The community is very proud of them all.
